Loic Perrin (centre) has emerged as a target for Everton

The Ligue 1 outfit face a summer of upheaval with manager Christophe Galtier expected to leave his post.

And it is claimed that Perrin could follow his boss out the door, with the Toffees a possible destination.

The Gunners were heavily linked with the versatile star - who can play in defence or midfield - in January, but no official offer was made.

Loic Perrin could leave Saint Etienne at the end of the season

And while Le10Sport say Everton are yet to make contact with Everton over a move, the Merseysiders could step up their efforts before the end of the season.

Roberto Martinez's side currently find themselves embroiled in a relegation scrap and could turn to Perrin to strengthen their defence ahead of next season, with Sylvain Distin reaching the end of the line.

And while Arsenal could yet rekindle their interest, Everton are reportedly now a more likely destination if they meet Saint Etienne's £8million asking-price.
