Loic Remy has been linked with a surprise move to Crystal Palace

In an exclusive report by Tuttomercatoweb, it is claimed that Alan Pardew is desperate to bring the Frenchman to Selhurst Park at the end of the season should the Eagles beat the drop.

Palace already have a number of strikers at the club including Fraizer Campbell and Marouane Chamakh, as well as Arsenal youngster Yaya Sanogo, but Pardew wants the former QPR and Newcastle star to lead the line in the next campaign.

Tuttomercatoweb believes that Jose Mourinho is willing to part ways with Remy due to the forward's lack of first-team action at Stamford Bridge.

The website states that the Special One plans to keep Didier Drogba alongside Diego Costa, and Remy's potential exit could see a new hitman arrive in west London.

Mourinho has previously explained that he needs three goalscorers in his squad in order to compete for domestic and European titles, with the Blues linked in recent times with Inter Milan's Mauro Icardi and Palermo's Paulo Dybala.

Whether Remy would be keen on a move to Palace remains to be seen, but there will surely be a number of clubs interested in his signature should he be made available for transfer.
