Ramires is confident of a win against West Ham tonight

The Blues go to Upton Park on the back of Sunday's Capital One Cup final triumph over Tottenham, and Jose Mourinho's men will be looking to take advantage of Manchester City's weekend defeat to Liverpool.

Ramires has been a regular member of the first-team in recent weeks, with Mourinho praising his impact in midfield as Nemanja Matic serves the final game of a two-match ban after seeing red against Burnley.

And speaking to the club's website, Ramires admitted that although West Ham will prove to be tough opponents, he is confident that the Blues can come away from the London derby with all three points.

Their fans can roar and apply the pressure on us, but we have a good record there

Ramires

He said: "Upton Park is a nice stadium, a quality pitch and I have some great memories of playing here.

"I know there is a big rivalry between the supporters and it's a classic fixture, a big London derby, but it's the players on the pitch who decide the outcome of the game.

"Their fans can roar and apply the pressure on us, but we have a good record there, I don't remember too many defeats. We feel comfortable and we're looking forward to it."
