Mohamed Salah has been in top form at Fiorentina

The Egypt international scored the only goal of the game as Vincenzo Montella's side grabbed a vita 1-0 away win over Inter Milan on Sunday, bringing his tally to four in five games since completing a loan move in January.

Limited playing time saw Salah fail to make an impact at Stamford Bridge after joining the Blues over a year ago, but his current fine form could see him come into Jose Mourinho's plans for the next campaign.

And speaking to Corriere cello Sport, centre-back Savic saluted his teammate's skills and work-ethic, whilst also hinting at a permanent deal for the 22-year-old.

I knew Salah was a very good player, but I didn't know he was that good

Stefan Savic

Savic said: "I knew Salah was a very good player, but I didn't know he was that good.

"When Salah enters the pitch it looks like he is entering a way, his legs never stop moving, and runs until the last inch of the pitch. He is also a bit lucky, because he is always waiting for the ball at the right time.

"However, Salah is one of those players who give their all until the last minute, and that's a great quality.

"It's not easy to be decisive as Salah has proven to be. How is he off the pitch? He is a very shy person but we welcomed him with great enthusiasm and I hope that he stays with us."
