Man Utd target Lucas Ocampos: Juan Cuadrado's Chelsea switch RUINED my move to Fiorentina
LUCAS OCAMPOS has revealed he would be a Fiorentina player had Juan Cuadrado not joined Chelsea.
Lucas Ocampos will remain at Marseille until the end of the season
Cuadrado arrived at the Blues for £27m in January, with Mohamed Salah joining the Serie A outfit on loan for the rest of the season as part of the deal.
The move ended La Viola's pursuit of Monaco's Ocampos, who eventually switched to Marseille on a temporary deal.
The Argentine forward - who is a long-term target for Manchester United - was understood to be keen on a move to Italy, but insists he is happy at the Ligue 1 giants.

The sale of Cuadrado to Chelsea scuppered the whole operation
"I needed to leave Monaco, where I wasn’t playing much at all," Ocampos said. "I had several options, among them was Fiorentina.
"Everything looked like it was done with them, but the sale of Cuadrado to Chelsea scuppered the whole operation.
"Today I’m happy to wear the jersey of a big club like Marseille."
