The Chelsea captain scored in a man-of-the-match performance as his side brushed aside Tottenham 2-0 to clinch the trophy at Wembley.

Chelsea must now turn their attention back to their Premier League title pursuit, where they currently lead rivals Manchester City by five points at the top of the table.

That run could be extended on Wednesday night when they meet West Ham, while City lost 2-1 at Liverpool this afternoon to fall further behind.

And Terry revealed after the game he didn't even know the result from Anfield.

"Did they win? Listen it is great result for us but our focus was fully on the game today," he told BBC 5 Live.

Blues manager Jose Mourinho also discussed City's defeat, stating: "It is better for us that City loses the match but I told the players this morning we have enough with the final. Forget the Premier League and concentrate on the big final."
