Raphael Varane wants a move to Manchester United

Louis van Gaal is keen to extend his contract so he can have FIVE years in charge at United, according to the Mirror.

The Dutchman who joined the club last summer has fallen in love with life in Manchester and wants to stay with the Reds up to 2020.

Real Madrid star Raphael Varane is keen for a move to Old Trafford despite interest from Chelsea and Arsenal.

According to sources in Spain, Varane is desperate for first-team football but cannot pave a regular starting spot in Carlo Ancelotti's side.

While Varane is pushing for a move to United, Radamel Falcao could leave Old Trafford for a loan spell with Valencia.

Louis van Gaal - The Facts

With Falcao's recent form and lack of fitness, Van Gaal may not be inclined to make his loan move permanent.

If they do though, United will have to stump up £40million.

However, Falcao did provide a glimpse to his magic form in the Red Devils' 2-0 win over Sunderland yesterday.

After the home victory, Ashley Young as called for his teammates to embark on a winning streak.

"I think it’s vitally important," Young said to MUTV

"I think it’s the United way - picking up [lots of] points after the turn of the year."
