Roberto Firmino could replace Santi Cazorla this summer

Diego Simeone is keen to land the Spanish midfielder this summer as he prepares to offload Arda Turan to Liverpool, and Arsene Wenger is ready to part ways as he prepares to reshape his Gunners squad.

And according to the Sunday People, Brazilian playmaker Firmino is the man Wenger wants to bring to the Emirates as Cazorla's replacement.

The 23-year-old is highly regarded as one of the finest attacking talents in the Bundesliga, and could cost Wenger upwards of £20m.

Firmino had been a target for Juventus boss Massimo Allegri, but the Turin giants have instead focused their attentions on landing Manchester City's Samir Nasri.

That clears the path for Wenger to swoop unchallenged for the former Figueirense starlet, who has been likened to Brazil legend Kaka.

Firmino has also been scouted by United in previous years, and he is now ready to test himself in England where a large number of his compatriots already play.
