Man Utd wade into #TheDress controversy with hilarious Twitter post

MANCHESTER UNITED have waded in to the debate over the colour of 'That Dress' on Twitter.

The controversy over the colour of the dress - which some see as black and blue and others white and gold - has gone viral on social media.

And United have embraced the phenomena by poking fun at their blue and black kit from last season.

A tweet from United's official account read: "We still love last season's white and gold kit... #whiteandgold #blueandblack #TheDress"

United abandoned the blue and black kit, in favour of a white second kit this season.

But with Chevrolet's gold logo brandished across the front - giving it a distinctly white and gold feel - it would seem that some fans could be forgiven for not noticing that it's changed at all.
