Nani isn't sure about a return to Manchester United

Nathaniel Clyne has rejected a new deal at Southampton, boosting United's chances of landing the defender.

The Red Devils are on the look out for a new right-back and Clyne's name features on a list of potential targets.

And according to the Mirror, Van Gaal's chances of luring the player to Manchester are looking up with Clyne refusing to commit his future to the Saints.

Nani says he remains in love with Manchester United but that things need to change before he considers a return.

The Portuguese winger has returned to form on loan at Sporting Lisbon, leading some to speculate he could replace Angel Di Maria in Van Gaal's plans next season.

But with United playing less attacking football under the Dutch boss, Nani has cast doubt over whether a return to Old Trafford would suit him.
