Danilo could leave Porto this summer

The Brazil full-back - who has 11 international caps - turned down the offer a deal until 2017, according to the Mirror.

The 23-year-old is now expected to leave Portugal in the summer, with the Premier League a possible destination.

United and Liverpool have kept tabs on Danilo, with both looking to add to their defences this summer.

Liverpool are still without Jon Flannagan - who suffered an injury before the start of the season - and have Glen Johnson running down his Anfield contract.

Louis van Gaal has shown little faith in Rafael and has had to play Antonio Valencia at right-back.

Danilo moved to Porto in 2012 from Brazilian side Santos after coming through the youth ranks at second tier club America.

He has played 20 of Porto's 22 league games this season as they chase Benfica in the race for the title.
