Nabil Fekir wouldn't mind joining Arsenal

The 21-year-old has been on the Gunners' radar in recent months and reports indicated they are lining up a £50m double swoop for the Lyon striker as well as Bayer Leverkusen goalkeeper Bernd Leno.

The Gunners brought in two players in the January transfer window, and Fekir appears to be part of Arsene Wenger's summer plans.

Fekir admits he is aware of the interest from the Gunners, but stated he would consider a move to the Emirates if he were given the chance of regular first team football.

"I want to enter into the great stadium (Lyon's new one, currently under construction). I feel good in this team, we are good together," Fekir told L'Equipe.

Arsenal's bench? No thank you! We will see. I don't want to leave too early and to end up on the bench

"And if we qualify for the Champions League, that will be another good reason for me to stay.

"Arsenal's bench? No thank you! We will see. I don't want to leave too early and to end up on the bench.

"I am a fighter and I like to play, I am not happy when I do not play.

"It is only my first season at the top level, at Arsenal, with the big players that they have, it would be complicated to play in their place, perhaps. But you never know."
