Verratti, 22, is set to start against Chelsea tonight in the Champions League as PSG look to progress to the last 16 of the tournament.

According to reports, the Italian has been closely tracked by Arsenal over the last few months but the Gunners baulked at his £40million asking price.

Yet the north London club are expected to resume their interest in the striker in the summer when they have more time to negotiate a lower transfer fee.

But Verratti has come out and insisted he won't move to the Premier League, instead staying firm on his commitment to PSG.

"I feel good here, and I'd like to stay here for a long time," Verratti said.

"I'll go when the directors let me know that I'm surplus to requirements. I've always said that I'll play in Serie A one day, but it won't be for a long time."
