Miranda says he's enjoying his time at Atletico despite Manchester United rumours

The centre-back, who was an integral part of Atletico Madrid's La Liga-winning side, has been linked heavily to Manchester United.

But when asked about his future, the 30-year-old made no mention of Manchester United and said he was 'enjoying' his time at Atletico.

He told AS: ""My future? All I can say is about the present, which is Atletico. I have a contract here and I am enjoying it."

The defender has come under competition for his place in the starting line-up recently since the rise of 20-year-old Jose Gimenez.

And, according to Marca, Miranda had previously looked for a way out last summer as Diego Costa and Filipe Luis both moved to Chelsea.

However, Miranda was persuaded by agent Jorge Mendes to stick around.

And this latest revelation that he's 'enjoying' Atletico could signal an end to the United speculation.
