EDEN HAZARD has heaped praise on Chelsea team-mate Diego Costa after the striker's controversial role in helping the Blues to the League Cup final at the expense of Liverpool.

The £32m summer signing appeared to stamp on Reds defenders Emre Can and Martin Skrtel during last night's semi-final second leg.
The Spain international could now miss Saturday's Premier League title clash with Manchester City through suspension, but Hazard has hailed his contribution.
"When you play with this guy, you have to give everything," the Belgian said of Costa. "You can see in every action and for every ball, he gives his life.

"In training he is a little different but in the game he is very good. He never stops. He had a very good mentality against Liverpool.
