Why always him? Tory MP mistakes Liverpool's Mario Balotelli for anti-drugs campaigner
MARIO BALOTELLI is always headline news, it's as simple as that. Just as the Italian striker suppressed pressure for him to show signs of improvement for Liverpool, he has been mistakenly spotted at the House Of Commons.
Tory MP Guy Opperman tweeted that the enigmatic forward was present at a Drug Policy debate wearing a "sharp suit, pink shirt and a poppy."
However Mr. Opperman was obviously mistaken, as the man in question was chairman of Haringey stop and search monitoring group, Ken Hinds.
Speaking outside the Commons, Mr Hinds told The Telegraph: "I was sitting down watching the debate and I was approached by a number of MPs asking me if I was Balloteli.

I was approached by a number of MPs asking me if I was Balloteli
"I had to disappoint them and say no - but he is a great man and I am only privileged to associated with man like that.
"I was in the debate because I am the chairman of Haringey stop and search monitoring group, we definitely know that drug play a big part in stop and search.
"In my community, which is one of the poorest boroughs in the country we know that two thirds of the stop and search is around drugs."
The Tory MP has since received relentless ribbing on social media as Balotelli was photographed minutes later at Liverpool's training facility in Melwood.
