William Carvalho has revealed he never really entertained the idea of a move to Chelsea.
The Sporting Lisbon star, who is thought to have a £37million release clause inserted into his contract, was also linked to Arsenal and Manchester United during the summer.
He said: "Nobody ever heard me say I wanted to leave Sporting or was dissatisfied. I've always been satisfied at Sporting."
Cesc Fabregas is celebrating the arrival of a new little sister.
The 27-year-old posted a picture holding the baby on Instagram.
He wrote: "My mum is a champion."
Kurt Zouma has explained the origins of his name.
His middle name is happy, but that is not that unusual.
However, his first name was inspired from a Jean-Claude Van Damme film.
