David Silva blow for Manchester City
DAVID SILVA could miss title-chasing Manchester City’s crunch game at Crystal Palace.
Silva was carried off, his right leg in a brace, during City’s 3-1 win over West Brom that leaves them six points behind leaders Liverpool with four games to play.
City boss Manuel Pellegrini said he will not know about Silva’s fitness until today, but admitted the Spaniard has been playing with an ankle injury. City go to Palace on Sunday and Pellegrini said: “Silva was playing the games before with the problem in his ankle and that’s why he couldn’t play against Sunderland.
“In three days he can recover. It is the same ankle as before.
“The injury started with a kick some weeks ago and he played in the last game with pain.”
