REVEALED: What Brendan Rodgers said in half-time team talk to Liverpool stars
STEVEN GERRARD has admitted Brendan Rodgers told the Liverpool players to put aside the burning sense of injustice felt from the equaliser they conceded against West Ham.
Replays indicated that Andy Carroll had clattered into Simon Mignolet before Guy Demel directed the ball into the net.
Liverpool picked themselves up to win 2-1 but Gerrard was candid when asked what was said in the dressing room at half time.
"The manager said at half-time that we can't change what happened [regarding West Ham's goal]. They all even themselves out over the season. That one went against us," Gerrard told Sky Sports after the game.
Gerrard admitted Liverpool's resolve helped them claim the three points.

"It was a huge setback for us but we were determined," he added.
"We want this really bad and we showed that in the second half. I'm not convinced that we will win the league yet. We have five games left and they are all huge.
"If we beat Man City next week then all that will give us is three more points."
