SPOTTED: Andy Carroll CLATTERS into Simon Mignolet before West Ham's controversial goal
BRENDAN RODGERS was left fuming after seeing Liverpool's perceived injustice against West Ham.
Andy Carroll flung a hand into Simon Mignolet's face as he went to attack a cross on the stroke of half time.
Mignolet subsequently dropped the ball and Guy Demel was on hand to stick the ball into the net.
A phalanx of Liverpool players waved their hands frantically and rushed over to the referee in an effort to make him realise there had been a foul.
Anthony Taylor consulted the linesman and though he wasn't initially sure, he overruled the linesman an awarded the goal much to the chagrin of Liverpool.
Rodgers was left incensed and waited on the touchline at half time to berate the official.
The pair were then seen in heated discussion as they disappeared down the tunnel.
