Confidence and patience! Arsenal's Mesut Ozil reassures fans over injury return
ARSENAL midfielder Mesut Ozil has taken to Facebook to reassure fans that he is doing everything in his power to return to the field as soon as possible.
Arsene Wenger revealed on Thursday that Ozil would not return for the FA Cup semi-final against Wigan next weekend as he continues his rehabilitation from a calf injury.
And Ozil believes that as he bides his time only two things remain important.
I can assure you that I'm doing my best to return to the pitch as soon as possible.
In a message posted in five different languages he said: "dear fans, I can assure you that I'm doing my best to return to the pitch as soon as possible. but in the end, only two things matter: to have confidence in yourself and to be patient! #coyg"
Earlier Wenger had told Arsenal Player: "The FA Cup will be too soon for him, but he will hopefully be back soon after that."
The post comes just a week after Ozil posted a picture of himself on Facebook in what appeared to be a doctor's surgery saying he was "working for my comeback".
