Bayern WILL overcome United despite Schweinsteiger and Martinez absence - Arjen Robben
ARJEN ROBBEN is adamant that Bayern Munich will overcome Manchester United despite the absences of Bastian Schweinsteiger and Javi Martinez in the second leg.
United travel to Germany after a 1-1 first-leg result in their Champions League quarter-final tie.
But following Schweinsteiger's late red card and Martinez's booking, Pep Guardiola will have to make do without the pair at the Allianz Arena.
But Robben believes Bayern WILL progress to the semi-finals, citing returning defender Dante as key to their chances.
"We will have Dante back and with him we will manage to reach the next round," Robben said.
"The 1-1 is a good result and we will happily take that with us.
"In a week we have to finish the job. Every player suspended will be missed and without Schweinsteiger and Javi we will have to up our performances.
Bayern are also missing midfielder Thiago Alcantara through injury, leaving a gaping hole in their midfield for the return leg.
