REVEALED: Arsenal and Man Utd target Marco Reus DOES have a Dortmund release clause
BORUSSIA DORTMUND have revealed that Manchester United and Arsenal target Marco Reus does have a release clause in his contract.
Reus is just one of a number of Dortmund players who has attracted interest from the Premier League in recent times, but the German club insist that the 24-year-old is the only player on their books who has such a clause.
Barcelona and PSG have also been linked with a move for Reus, and despite Dortmund's protestations that the player is not for sale, reports suggest that a fee of £30m would be enough to trigger the clause.
Dortmund executive Hans-Joachim Watzke told SPORT1media: "Marco Reus possesses a release clause option in his current contract at our club.
"He could leave our club due to that.
"He is, however, the only player in our first-team squad that has such a contract clause."
Reus current contract runs until 2017, although Dortmund are believed to want to negotiate an extension that would offer the German international a pay rise on condition that the release clause be removed.
