Torres sits out Chelsea training with Mourinho set to AXE Luiz, Lampard and Ivanovic
CHELSEA striker Fernando Torres has missed training with a leg problem ahead of the visit of Schalke in the Champions League.
Chelsea take on the German outfit tomorrow night at Stamford Bridge with both sides locked on six points in Group E.
And Torres looks a major doubt for Jose Mourinho's side having picked up a muscle injury in his leg at Chelsea's Cobham training base yesterday.
Torres looks set to be replaced by Samuel Eto'o, while Demba Ba is the other option for the hosts.
The Spaniard starred against Schalke during Chelsea's 3-0 win in Gelsenkirchen last month, and appeared to be getting back to his best form with three goals in his last three games before coming off against Newcastle.
Mourinho is expected to make wholesale changes from the team last lost to Alan Pardew's side, with David Luiz, Frank Lampard and Branislav Ivanovic set to be axed.
Eden Hazard and Juan Mata could also be dropped after incurring Mourinho's wrath at St James' Park.
