Manchester United warned off late bid for Daniele De Rossi
MANCHESTER UNITED have been told that Daniele De Rossi will not be going anywhere before the window closes.
United launched a £10m bid for De Rossi last week and are also chasing Everton's Marouane Fellaini and Athletic Bilbao's Ander Herrera.
David Moyes is desperate to add some cutting edge to midfield, but it appears they have reached a dead end for the volatile Italian.
"As for De Rossi, we will always reply ‘no thank you’ to any formal offer that is proposed for him, as would the player," Roma director Mauro Baldissoni told Sky Sport Italia.
"Both Roma and Daniele are coming off a year that didn’t go well and we want to make up for that together.
"We are working on Totti’s renewal. He will stay for a long time to come."
Totti's contract expires in 2014.
