Stoke City striker Cameron Jerome in betting probe
STOKE CITY striker Cameron Jerome has admitted charges of breaking the FA's strict rules on betting.
The 26-year-old's charge is not related to match fixing or betting on games he was involved in.
An FA statement read: "The FA has charged Stoke City's Cameron Jerome with breaches of its rules in relation to a number of betting offences.
"Jerome has admitted the charges.
"A date for an Independent Regulatory Commission to hear the case will be set in due course."
Spurs' Andros Townsend was suspended for four months and fined £18,000 in relation to a betting offence last season.
