Crystal Palace and Leeds United alerted by Stephen Sunny
CRYSTAL PALACE and Leeds United target Stephen Sunny says he "would love the chance to play in England".
The Numancia midfielder played for Spain through the age-group levels but picked up his first and only international cap for Nigeria, his country of birth, in 2010.
Sunny is out of contract in the summer and can leave on a free, prompting Palace and Leeds to show interest in his services.
The 24-year-old said: "I am out of contract at the end of the season and I know my agent is talking to other clubs and there are offers on the table.
Of course it is a dream to come and play in England
"Presently I still have a contract with Numancia and my focus is ending the season well with them and making sure they are secure in the league.
"It is very important to end the season and I will make a decision on my future when the season is over
"Of course it is a dream to come and play in England. I came close to joining Portsmouth and Blackpool before but it did not happen for different circumstances.
"I am eager to see what offers come my way and it depends on the teams, but like any other player I would love the chance to play in England."
