Manchester City to get overhaul as they take on Manchester United for Adrian Castellano
MANCHESTER CITY and bitter rivals Manchester United will tussle for Real Madrid defender Adrian Castellano's signature this summer.
Castellano, who has already made 10 appearances for Real’s C team (Los Blancos’ second reserve squad) has impressed Jose Mourinho, who has invited him to train with the first team on several occasions.
City are planning a major overhaul of their squad, with Joleon Lescott on the list tipped with a move away from the Etihad in the summer.
Mancini wants to firm up his summer transfer list early, so that he can steal a march on his rivals before the Premier League campaign kicks off in August.
Moreover, the left-back could provide serious competition for Patrice Evra, who is currently Sir Alex Ferguson’s No1 choice in that position.
