Agent’s comments raises spectre of Arsenal move for Emanuelson
ARSENAL’S hopes of signing AC Milan midfielder Urby Emanuelson this month have been boosted.
The 26-year-old, who was a product of the famous Ajax youth academy, has only managed eight starts for the Rossoneri this season, of which he has completed only three of them.
Arsenal are considering a number of options, as Arsene Wenger is keen to add more steel to his midfield.
The Gunners have also been linked with a move for Yann M’Vila, but the Frenchman could be QPR bound.
I think we all are. It’s difficult to understand what the reasons are
But Emanuelson’s agent, Brian Berkleef, admitted that his client is ‘unhappy’ with the situation at Milan.
He was quoted by Forza Italian Football, as saying: “I’m definitely surprised that Urby isn’t playing.
“I think we all are. It’s difficult to understand what the reasons are.”
Emanuelson has netted twice this season in all competitions for Milan.
