Fulham make approach for QPR’s Jamie Mackie
FULHAM are weighing up a move to prise Jamie Mackie away from QPR in January.
The talented forward is currently in the grip of a relegation battle with the Hoops.
And though QPR have put together a sequence of results under the stewardship under Harry Redknapp, it may not be enough to convince Mackie to stay at Loftus Road.
Fulham it seems want to steal a march on their Premier League rivals by snapping up Mackie.
According to fichajes.net, Mackie wants to play at a club with higher aspirations.
They also note that a deal between the two clubs could be struck for a fee of £3m.
Mackie has scored two Barclays Premier League goals this season.
He was a driving factor behind QPR surviving last season and scored in the club’s 3-2 defeat away to Manchester City on the final day.
