Arsenal’s Andre Santos offered lifeline from Turkey
ANDRE SANTOS could end his Arsenal nightmare and leave the club in January.
The left back has confirmed that he is interested in a move, with Turkey being his preferred destination.
In an interview with Esporte, Santos said: “My idea is to stay in Europe. I want to keep playing, wherever it might be.
“I still have many objectives on this continent, some clubs from Turkey have called me, but there is nothing concrete.”
Santos riled Arsenal fans when he exchanged shirts with Robin van Persie during their defeat away to Manchester United earlier on in the season.
And he came under attack from pundits during that game after being given the run around by Antonio Valencia.

The Brazilian joined the Gunners from Fenerbahce in 2011 for a fee of £6.8m, but has found first-team opportunities hard to come by.
Maybe he might be reunited with Marouane Chamakh if he were to go back to Fenerbache, as the forward is linked with a move to the Turkish heavyweights.
