Watford 0 Blackpool 2: Dobbie double
STEPHEN DOBBIE edged Blackpool closer to the play-offs and all but ended Watford’s faint hope of joining them.
Dobbie struck twice to bring the Hornets’ seven-game unbeaten run to a halt, leaving manager Sean Dyche disappointed with his players’ effort.
“We didn’t have enough people wanting to make a difference,” he said. “But the position we are in is above most people’s expectations.”
Blackpool did not look back after on-loan Swansea striker Dobbie scored with a fine solo strike after 20 minutes.
The contest was ended when Thomas Ince was hauled down for a penalty by keeper Tomasz Kuszczak and Dobbie converted the spot-kick for his fourth goal in two games.
