Redknapp: Ledley King would be the best in world if not injured
TOTTENHAM manager Harry Redknapp has claimed Ledley King would have been “one of the best centre-halves in the world” but for his injuries.
Spurs skipper King, 31, matched last season’s total of nine appearances in Saturday’s 3-1 win at West Brom.
King does not even train between games and Redknapp said: “It’s amazing how he can do that. It just shows you how good he is.
He would have been one of the best in the world if he hadn’t had so many injuries.”
