Millwall 3 Coventry 0: Darius Henderson hot streak continues
DARIUS HENDERSON confirmed himself as one of the in-form strikers in the Championship last night with another two goals for Millwall.
The summer signing from Sheffield United netted twice in the second half at the New Den to make it six strikes from his last three games.
Liam Feeney added a third with eight minutes remaining to seal the win and leave Coventry ruing Cody McDonald’s earlier open-goal miss – denying them a chance of a first away win of the season.
McDonald’s moment to forget came just after the half-hour as he followed in Gary McSheffrey’s parried cross but cleared the crossbar from five yards out.

The opening goal came eight minutes into the second half when Liam Trotter slipped a ball down the left channel to Henderson, who cut inside and finished with help from a deflection off defender Richard Wood.
The second came from the other flank, with Henderson cutting inside again and powering his finish into the bottom corner. Trotter sent Feeney through to slot home coolly for the third.
