Sepp Blatter under fire
SEPP BLATTER will tomorrow have to answer allegations that he knew about bribery within FIFA.
He will be one of the three most powerful men in football in front of FIFA’s ethics committee in Zurich.
Blatter appears after a complaint by his rival in the FIFA president election, Mohamed Bin Hammam.
Jack Warner, the FIFA vice-president alleged along with Bin Hammam to have bribed officials in the Caribbean for their votes in next week’s election, will also come under scrutiny.
Bin Hammam made a complaint last night that Blatter knew about the alleged cash payments in the Caribbean. Blatter said: “The facts will speak for themselves.”
