Erling Haaland

Manchester City are not in league action until Thursday due to their FA Cup semi-final against Chelsea later today. It remains to be seen if Erling Haaland will play a part in either fixture after complaining of a muscle problem during City's midweek defeat to Real Madrid.

Pep Guardiola confirmed that Haaland was nursing an issue on Friday, saying: "Erling, we will see. It was a tough game, 120 minutes, a lot of action, high intensity for both sides. Erling felt something, a muscular issue and that’s why he told me he could not continue.

"[The doctor] said yeah, a little bit of a niggle. We will see how his evolution is in the next hours."

Alphonse Areola

West Ham could welcome back Alphonse Areola when they make the short trip across London to face Crystal Palace on Sunday. The 31-year-old has missed the last few games with a groin injury but will be hoping to make his return at Selhurst Park if he is passed fit ahead of kick-off.

David Moyes issued a coy response when quizzed on Areola's fitness in Friday's press conference, neither confirming nor denying that he would be involved against Palace. He said: "When I get to see the players and get them working with the medical staff we’ll find out exactly how they are."

Pervis Estupinan

Roberto De Zerbi confirmed after Brighton's draw with Burnley last weekend that Pervis Estupinan had suffered an ankle injury. The defender, who is currently in 18.4 per cent of all FPL teams, could be sidelined when the Seagulls face Manchester City on Thursday.

De Zerbi did not state a timeline for the player's return, so it remains unknown if he will be fit enough to return to action next week. However, the Italian will certainly be hoping that Estupinan is not sidelined for long given the injury crisis unfolding at the Amex Stadium.

Jarrad Branthwaite

Sean Dyche is hopeful that Jarrad Branthwaite will be able to return for Everton when they face Nottingham Forest on Sunday afternoon. The defender came off with an injury during Everton's heavy defeat to Chelsea but has since returned to training alongside forward Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

"They both trained," said Dyche on Friday. "We were light today, but both trained light and came through it, so we hope there is no reaction to that."

Rayan Ait-Nouri

Wolves have endured more than their fair share of injury concerns this season but it seems as though Rayan Ait-Nouri could be involved against Arsenal this evening. Gary O'Neil confirmed on Friday that he might be named on the bench but explained that he would not be able to play a major role at the Emirates Stadium.

"Rayan could be available for the bench," said the Wolves boss. "He went back outside today, he is feeling good. He wouldn’t be able to play very long but may be available for the matchday squad."
