could reportedly lead a raid on Leeds in the summer if Daniel Farke’s side fail to win promotion from the Championship. At least five players could attract interest from top-flight teams after some impressive performances at Elland Road.

The 17-year-old midfielder Archie Gray is reportedly being eyed by Liverpool. According to the Daily Mail, the Reds have lined up a summer bid for the midfielder which could rise to £40million.

Gray has drawn comparisons with Liverpool star Trent Alexander-Arnold. The England U20 starlet is technically superb and can play in midfield and at right-back.

But he might not be the only player to leave Leeds in the summer, especially if they lose their bid for promotion. A 2-0 victory on Saturday put them into second place in the second tier.

Winger Wilfried Gnonto attracted interest from Everton last summer. The Italian was understood to favour a return to the Premier League but a move did not materialise.

The BBC claimed that Everton renewed their interest in the 20-year-old prior to January. Other teams will likely rival the Toffees come the end of the campaign.

Crysencio Summerville finds himself in a similar situation. Leeds CEO Angus Kinnear revealed last summer that the club received offers of around £20m for the Dutchman, with Aston Villa and Crystal Palace believed to be interested.

Summerville, 22, has scored 15 goals and provided eight assists in the Championship this season. There could also be interest in Wales international Ethan Ampadu, who joined Leeds on a permanent deal from Chelsea last summer.

Leeds might hope that Joe Rodon’s loan from Tottenham is made permanent ahead of the 2024-25 campaign. But the Welshman’s impressive performances in the Championship could see a plethora of Premier League clubs beat Farke to his signature if Leeds fail to win promotion.

Daniel Farke

Teenager Gray could help Leeds rake in a huge profit. Farke has been extremely impressed with the club’s most valuable asset.

"All the praise has to go to Archie," the Leeds boss told Sky Sports last week. "You can work with a player, back the player and trust the player, but we can only bring him to the door and he has to make that step through it.

"How he's done that, with the maturity and consistency he has, is outstanding for a 17-year-old.

"He's still unbelievably grounded, humble and has good habits. That is so crucial that you don't get over the moon after just one or two good games or a couple of good months.”
