Manchester City are the holders of the trophy following their victory in a Manchester derby final last year, while Premier League challengers Liverpool and Arsenal, who face each other in the third round on Sunday, will be keen to put a stop to Pep Guardiola’s side this year.
Tottenham Hotspur, on a bright run of form under manager Ange Postecoglou, will also be hungry for their first FA Cup trophy since 1991, and Chelsea will see an opportunity to make up for their inconsistent form in the Premier League.

When is the FA Cup fourth round?
The fourth round of the FA Cup is set to take place over the weekend of January 26/27/28/29.
How many FA Cup rounds are there?
Preliminary qualifying rounds took place for non-league teams in August 2023. League One and League Two teams joined the competition in the first round proper, with Premier League and Championship sides floated through to the third round proper.
On top of the fourth round, teams must win the fifth round of the FA Cup before making it to the quarter-finals. This means that Premier League teams must win six games consecutively to lift the trophy.
