How does Caicedo’s Chelsea transfer compare to previous big-money deals?
The final two weeks of the transfer window are underway and there is still plenty of business to be done by teams in the Premier League and beyond, as with the season kicking off the gaping holes in squads have only become more evident - with spending set to continue up until next month's deadline.
Manchester United are attempting to sign a new goalkeeper in addition to reinforcements in midfield and defence, most lately targeting Benfica stopper Odysseas Vlachodimos as backup to fellow new signing Andre Onana, though exits may be needed in order for someone like Sofyan Amrabat to come in.
Arsenal have completed the majority of their business through Declan Rice, Kai Havertz, Jurrien Timber and David Raya but a long-term injury suffered by Timber on his Gunners debut could force them to enter the market once again.
Liverpool are looking to beef up their midfield further after the signing of Wataru Endo, having been gazumped by Chelsea for both Moises Caicedo and Romeo Lavia - while Tottenham and Manchester City could both add further firepower to their frontline shortly.

Chelsea have struck an agreement for their eighth signing of a busy summer.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the Blues are set to pay £14million for Serbian goalkeeper Djordje Petrovic.
A verbal agreement is in place with New England Revolution, and Mauricio Pochettino is set to welcome the 23-year-old as competition for Robert Sanchez between the sticks.

Express Sport understands that the £20million switch from Stuttgart is still alive and the parties are now at the negotiating table.
The final details of Mavropanos' contract are currently being worked on by the Hammers, meaning the deal should still go through as planned, barring a late twist.

Arsenal could raise a healthy chunk of cash before next month's transfer deadline.
And that's just as well, with Mikel Arteta and co spending heavily on the likes of Declan Rice, Kai Havertz and Jurrien Timber.
Rob Holding, Nuno Tavares and Folarin Balogun are among those set to be offloaded, where on loan or permanently, over the next week and a half.
Holding is linked to Besiktas, Balogun has admirers at Chelsea and Monaco, while Tavares is the subject of interest from Nottingham Forest, according to reports.
Manchester United have today released a statement regarding the future of Mason Greenwood, who has not played for the club since January 2022, confirming he will leave the club.
The statement read: "Manchester United has concluded its internal investigation into the allegations made against Mason Greenwood. Our process commenced in February 2023, following all charges against Mason being dropped.
"Throughout, we have taken into account the wishes, rights and perspective of the alleged victim along with the club’s standards and values, and sought to collate as much information and context as possible.
"This has required us to proceed with sensitivity and care to obtain evidence not in the public domain, including from those with direct knowledge of the case. Based on the evidence available to us, we have concluded that the material posted online did not provide a full picture and that Mason did not commit the offences in respect of which he was originally charged.
"That said, as Mason publicly acknowledges today, he has made mistakes which he is taking responsibility for. All those involved, including Mason, recognise the difficulties with him recommencing his career at Manchester United.
"It has therefore been mutually agreed that it would be most appropriate for him to do so away from Old Trafford, and we will now work with Mason to achieve that outcome."

Arsenal defender Gabriel has been the subject of interest from Real Madrid, but the Brazilian looks set to turn down Los Blancos.
Despite being left out of Mikel Arteta's team for the first Premier League game of the season, coupled with interest from Madrid and Saudi Arabia, Gabriel remains fully committed to the Gunners.
There is genuine interest from Madrid but he wants to fight for his place at Arsenal, who would have been dealt a blow if Gabriel did leave after Jurrien Timber's long-term injury.
Manchester United defender Victor Lindelof is a reported target of French side Rennes, after starting both of United's opening two games of the season on the bench.
RMC Sport have claimed that Lindelof is highly thought of by the Rennes hierarchy and he is on their shortlist of players that could replace star man Arthur Theate.
Even though the Sweden international has been unable to oust Lisandro Martinez and Raphael Varane, both Lindelof and Erik ten Hag want the centre-back to stay at Old Trafford.
Liverpool are reportedly considering a move for Manchester City midfielder Kalvin Phillips before the transfer window closes.
Phillips has failed to make an impression on Pep Guardiola following his arrival from Leeds, while talkSPORT have claimed that Liverpool may give him an exit plan.

Ligue 1 side Monaco have resumed discussions to sign Arsenal starlet Folarin Balogun this month.
Sky Sports have claimed that negotiations are ongoing, despite the French club having a bid already rejected by the Gunners.
He has been given a valuation upwards of £40million by Arsenal that no team is yet to meet, after additional interest from Inter Milan, Tottenham and Chelsea.
"The honest truth is that my performances this season haven’t reached the level I demand of myself and I feel that now is the right time to retire," Foster said in a statement on Wrexham's official website.
Wrexham co-owner Ryan Reynolds added: "He built memories I’ll never let go of for as long as I live. I love this guy. Thank you for everything, Ben."
Arsenal forgotten man Rob Holding is in talks over leaving the Emirates this summer for a move to Turkish club Besiktas.
L'Equipe have claimed that talks are underway but it remains to be seen what sort of asking price the Gunners would put on Holding.
The 27-year-old has fallen down the pecking order under Mikel Arteta, though the recent long-term injury to Jurrien Timber may give Arsenal pause for thought over how much Holding would be involved this season.

Manchester City have moved a step closer to signing Rennes winger Jeremy Doku as part of a deal that could reach £51million.
Fabrizio Romano has claimed that a new verbal proposal is being discussed with the Ligue 1 side in the hopes of striking an agreement.
Tottenham and West Ham have both expressed their interest in the Belgium international, but Pep Guardiola's outfit are hopeful of beating both to his signature.
Manchester United's initial offer for Fiorentina midfielder Sofyan Amrabat is set to arrive within 48 hours.
That's according to Italian outlet La Nazione, who claim that the Red Devils were hoping to receive a discount on the Moroccan but may be unable to continue waiting.
Liverpool still hold an interest in Amrabat, who is expected to cost in the region of £25million this summer, as United had hoped to offload more fringe players before moving for the 27-year-old.

Axel Tuanzebe has been handed a Premier League lifeline after his Manchester United contract expired, beginning training with Luton.

He has had interest from Saudi Arabia, Germany and Turkey but The Mirror claim that he will instead be working with Luton in order to earn a contract at Rob Edwards' side.
Tottenham are eyeing up a move for Nottingham Forest star Brennan Johnson this summer, but Steve Cooper's side have been reluctant to part ways with the Wales international.
He has been subject to numerous bids from Brentford upwards of £40million, but Spurs seemingly have a plan to lower Forest's asking price.
The Daily Mail have said that they are willing to offer Davinson Sanchez in exchange, having failed to offload the Colombian so far.

Chelsea have been told how much they will need to pay in order to sign Arsenal starlet Folarin Balogun this summer.
The Blues are lacking firepower up front beyond Nicolas Jackson, as a result of injuries to Christopher Nkunku and Armando Broja.
Balogun had been viewed as a potential signing and The Mirror have insisted that the young striker would cost Todd Boehly and co £40million to prise away from Arsenal.
Discussions between Arsenal and both Inter Milan and Monaco had broken down over Balogun, as neither club were prepared to pay the asking price.
Manchester United have reportedly explored the signing of Benfica goalkeeper Odysseas Vlachodimos as a replacement for Dean Henderson.
Henderson is expected to leave Old Trafford, with both Nottingham Forest and Crystal Palace keen on a potential move.
This has led Fabrizio Romano to claim that Vlachodimos is seen by United as a Henderson replacement and the club have explored the idea of signing the Greece international.
The goalkeeper does have a £51million release clause in his Benfica contract, however, as it remains to be seen whether United will be able to negotiate below that fee for Vlachodimos.
