Arsenal: 2021/22 season preview
Arsenal will be hoping for a positive start to the season on Friday when they become the first team to visit Brentford in the Premier League. Mikel Arteta's side have not had the best of pre-seasons in terms of results but that is not always a guide on how a campaign will go. Arteta has a number of selection dilemmas ahead of him and Express Sport looks at how the Gunners are expected to line up in west London.

Defence - Bellerin, White, Mari, Tierney
Right-back provides one of the biggest question marks in the Arsenal side.
Hector Bellerin started the friendly against Spurs last Sunday, so he could get the nod ahead of Cedric Soares and Calum Chambers.
But in all honesty it is a lottery, with Arteta switching between all three in the second-half of last season.
Ben White is set for a full debut at centre-back following his move from Brighton.
Arteta likes the balance of having a right-footer and a left-footer, so Pablo Mari is likely to partner White with Kieran Tierney in his familiar role at left-back.
