Former Arsenal midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong believes Arsene Wenger should return as the club's manager if Mikel Arteta is sacked. The Gunners have had a poor start to the season under Arteta and currently sit 15th in the Premier League table, just four points off the bottom three.

"But then again, he did a great job on a very small budget and he managed to keep us in the top four and competing for trophies.
"Some fans felt he was there for far too long and we needed a change, but obviously the change hasn’t worked out and most of us wish Arsene was still there."
Arteta is adamant that he can turn things around but has admitted that the prospect of relegation is a something he is concerned about.
"When you are in this position and you have the points we have at the moment we have to look and be careful," he said.
