Thiago Alcantara return date with Liverpool trio ruled out of Champions League tie
Thiago Alcantara has missed Liverpool's last two games due to injury.
Liverpool: Experts discuss the signing of Thiago Alcantara
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp could have Thiago Alcantara back available in time to face West Ham at the weekend, according to reports. Thiago has been out of action since the 2-2 draw with Everton earlier this month.
The midfielder picked up an injury after a foul from Richarlison late in the game, which saw the Everton forward sent off.
Thiago was able to finish the game, but there were concerns after he was spotted leaving the hospital later that same day.
He appeared to be limping leading to fears of a long-term injury.
It was later revealed though that Thiago had just suffered severe bruising, forcing him to miss games against Ajax and Sheffield United.

His injury followed on from the news that Virgil van Dijk had ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament in the same match, with the centre-back unlikely to feature again this season.
Naby Keita and Joel Matip have also been suffering from small injury issues over the past week.
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp confirmed the duo, along with Thiago, would not be available to face Midtjylland on Tuesday.
"Don’t think so. It’s still what I said last week, we look day by day," he said.

Jurgen Klopp told he made Liverpool transfer blunder with Jota deal
“It looks like we will need a few more days. For tomorrow night, they probably will not be ready.”
But it appears as though Thiago is close to returning to the fold having already begun light training.
According to This is Anfield, Thiago's absence is purely precautionary to avoid any possibility of the injury flaring up again.
It is claimed that Liverpool are confident the 29-year-old will be able to feature against West Ham on Saturday.
Klopp opted for an attack-minded line-up in the weekend's 2-1 win over Sheffield United with Diogo Jota, Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah all starting together for the first time.
There was controversy early on though as Fabinho was adjudged to have given away a penalty with Sander Berge giving the visitors the lead.
Firmino equalised late in the first half for his first goal of the season before Jota headed in the match winner.
