Chelsea: Frank Lampard discusses transfer window speculation
Ross Barkley's goal in Chelsea's 1-0 win over Leicester on Sunday in the FA Cup was reminiscent of the type of goal Frank Lampard made a career doing during his playing days. That's the opinion of former Newcastle goalkeeper Shaka Hislop, who was full of praise for the midfielder.

Barkley had sprinted from the edge of the area to meet the ball and guided it low across goal past Kasper Schmeichel.
The goal drew comparisons to the type Lampard used to score during his playing days, with Hislop praising the performance the 26-year-old put in.
With Chelsea active in the transfer market, Barkley - who has only made 15 league appearances this season - is tipped to be one of the sacrificial lambs.
But Hislop his performance on Sunday proves he can rise to the levels required by the club and should be kept around this summer.

"This isn't uncommon ground for Ross Barkley, who responded exactly in the way he would have hoped.
"It was a good performance, a well taken goal and that's all you can ever offer as a player."
Hislop also praised the tactical nuonce of Lampard, who made three half-time changes in a desperate attempt to change his side's fortunes.
The boss reportedly tore into his side at the interval and told them they weren't fit to wear the badge, before taking off Mason Mount, Billy Gilmour and Reece James for Cesar Azpilicueta, Mateo Kovacic and Barkley.
And Hislop believes Lampard showed he's got the tactical knowledge to know how to change things when the game isn't going his way.
"Chelsea as good as they have been against Manchester City, were disappointing in the first-half," he added.
"Frank Lampard showed that he's not afraid to make big calls when the time needs.
"He made three substitutions at half-time that completely transformed their fortunes. They brought them the goals and the win."
