Liverpool: Andy Robertson says Messi is better than Ronaldo
Andy Robertson has revealed that Jordan Henderson told him to 'f*** off' during his first rondo after he'd arrived at the club. The Scotland international moved to Anfield from Hull City and had to prove his worth before earning a starting spot.
Similarly to Fabinho, Klopp left Robertson out of the team for several months while he adjusted to his tactical demands.
The left-back was therefore keen to impress on the training pitch but he was given a rude awakening to life at Liverpool by new team-mate Henderson.
"I think people may be do sink, they can't cut it or whatever," Robertson said on the Peter Crouch Podcast.
"But for me I came from lower leagues, I don't see it as much as people who have played at the highest level.

"I had my first box in the rondo and Hendo told me to 'f*** off' as soon as I went in.
"It was because it was the two youngest players in and I stepped in.
"He didn't know I was 22, he thought I was 28.

"So he told me to 'f*** off' so that was a nice start, at least I knew the skipper was on my side."
Robertson would soon make his mark though after replacing the injured Alberto Moreno in the starting line up in December 2017.
The 26-year-old would put together a string of impressive performances over the Christmas period and never looked back.
He recalls one particular memory in which he finally felt like a Liverpool player, after a slow start on Merseyside.
“We had a big Melwood Christmas party," Robertson added.
"It was after a game against Bournemouth away. I remember the gaffer came up to me and said, ‘You were f****** excellent today.’
"That was only my fourth or fifth game after I came into the first team.
"That’s when I thought, ‘you know what, I am a Liverpool player. I belong on this stage.’ I just kicked on from there really.”
