Man Utd boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer given final say on Donny Van de Beek transfer from Ajax
Manchester United are interested in signing Ajax star Donny Van de Beek in the summer transfer window.
Donny van de Beek: Pundits discuss player leaving Ajax
Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will have the final say on if the club pursues transfer target Donny Van de Beek, with the Ajax star also wanted by Real Madrid and Juventus, according to reports in Spain.
Solskjaer is keen on bolstering his attacking options in the summer and Van de Beek is one of several targets the Red Devils have been linked with.
However, according to Spanish publication Mundo Deportivo, it will be the Norweigan who has the final say on if the club tries to bring Van de Beek to Old Trafford this summer.
The 23-year-old had another outstanding season for Ajax as he once again demonstrated his passing and shooting talents.
He scored 10 goals and provided 11 assists in 37 appearances in all competitions this campaign.

Solskjaer will have to consider how to fund a move for Van de Beek and the report also suggests United will only attempt to sign the attacking midfielder if Paul Pogba is sold this summer.
There were reports in Spain and the Netherlands in December that Real were on the verge of signing Van de Beek this summer after agreeing with Ajax to pay a fee of £47million (€55m).
However, United are still in the race to sign the player as Real only have a verbal agreement and nothing has been signed as yet.

The player has also admitted that he has yet to decide where his future lies.
"Playing in the sun is always nice, but no, I haven't started taking Spanish classes," he told Helden magazine.
"I still haven't said 'yes' to anyone, it's all open.
"I know what I have here, I'm loved by Ajax and I love Ajax."
Given the current market, it is unclear if Real will continue with their pursuit of Van de Beek for several reasons.
Firstly there is the development of Martin Odegaard, who has impressed while on loan at Real Sociedad. The 21-year-old has scored seven goals and provided eight assists in 28 appearances this season.
Real are also interested in Rennes youngster Eduardo Camavinga, with the 17-year-old seen as a natural replacement for Casemiro at the Bernabeu.
And then there is also Pogba, who has been a long-term transfer target for Los Blancos' manager Zinedine Zidane.
As for Juventus' interest, the report claims the Old Lady are behind Real and United in the race to sign Van de Beek and that their interest in the midfielder depends on whether Paulo Dybala leaves the club.
