Werner release clause twist
According to Transfermarkt, Timo Werner's release clause actually runs until June 15.
There had been some confusion surrounding when it might expire, with rumours circling that Liverpool had until the end of April to trigger it.
RB Leipzig will net around £50m if Liverpool do take them up on the option.
The deal could be affected by the coronavirus crisis though, with the season set to rumble on way into the summer.
Fabian Ruiz deal backed
Liverpool have been urged to sign Fabian Ruiz this summer by Emile Heskey.
The midfielder has been linked with a move to Anfield in recent weeks.
"Fabian Ruiz looks like a phenomenal player and Liverpool’s midfield is an area that needs strengthening a little bit with it ageing," Heskey told GentingBet.
"A player like that would be good for Liverpool.
"Someone who can drive from the midfield, someone who can create stuff – he is a player that I’m sure Liverpool would love to have."
Van Dijk owns Carragher
Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher was left embarrassed by Virgil van Dijk.
The Liverpool centre-back asked fans to send in their questions for a Q&A on Twitter.
Carragher tweeted Van Dijk: "What former @LFC defender in the @premierleague era did you base your game on?"
To which Van Dijk replied: "Tough one ... probably Sami Hyypiä."

Adama Traore eyed
Adama Traore is reportedly on Liverpool's radar this summer according to Football Insider.
The Wolves speedster impressed Jurgen Klopp when the sides met in January.
The deal is almost entirely dependent on whether Sadio Mane or Mohamed Salah leave Liverpool this summer though.
Liverpool want to keep both and do not plan on letting either leave.

Mbappe decision made
Liverpool will not be signing Kylian Mbappe because they won't want to break their current wage structure, according to Guillem Balague.
"No [Liverpool won't sign Mbappe]," the Spaniard said on his YouTube channel.
"Obviously they like Mbappe but he would destroy the wage structure of Liverpool now.
"They'd have to invest a lot in getting him, so forget that one."

Wijnaldum contract backed
Gini Wijnaldum has been backed to extend his stay at Liverpool by pundit Michael Brown.
The Dutchman's deal expires at the end of next season and the club are yet to reach an agreement.
But Brown expects things to be tied up shortly.
He told Football Insider: "Would you want a player of his ability to be on a longer contract? Possibly, with two years.
"You don’t really want anyone under two years, any of the players who have played regularly. Liverpool are in a great position, Wijnaldum will want to stay at Liverpool.
“The tides are turning for Liverpool in that they don’t have to rush it so much as they would have a few years ago. Players will want to be at Liverpool under Jurgen Klopp so they’ll get the deal done when they’re ready.”
