Jack Grealish gives green light for Man Utd move as midfielder eyes Aston Villa exit
Jack Grealish has been on Manchester United's radar for several months.
Jack Grealish is reportedly ready to join Manchester United. Aston Villa’s captain has courted interest from the Red Devils in recent months thanks to a string of impressive displays this season.
United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is understood to be a big admirer of the midfielder and was reported to have contemplated acquiring his services in the January transfer window.
The Norwegian is said to be keen on doing just that in the summer. And he’ll be boosted by suggestions the midfielder is eager to leave Villa Park.
According to Goal, Grealish believes now is the right time to end his love affair with Villa and move on to pastures new.
They also claim the 24-year-old is already preparing himself for a move to Old Trafford by hunting for a house in the north west.
Jack Grealish is reportedly ready to leave Manchester United
Grealish teased a future move to The Theatre of Dreams after scoring in Villa’s 2-2 draw with United last December, saying: "That was my favourite goal ever. Scoring at Old Trafford, I’ve always wanted to play at Old Trafford.
"I’ve played there before in a reserve cup final but it’s not the same when it’s like that.
"That’s obviously my favourite ground in the Premier League.
"It was one of them, as soon as I shot I knew it was going into the top corner and I couldn’t have hit it any better."

Grealish has been linked with a move away from Villa since helping guide the club back to the Premier League last season.
Villa have remained steadfast in their eagerness to retain his services, with manager Dean Smith recently saying: “He’s Villa through and through.
“He’s now performing on the biggest stage he can in the Premier League for Aston Villa.
“He’s playing well, scoring goals, creating assists and it’s a club he loves.
“He signed a new deal at the start of last season, we’ve got two very wealthy owners who want to build the team around Jack.
“They can keep linking him, but this is the one club he loves and that’s probably the most important thing."
Grealish’s arrival at Old Trafford would likely spell the end of Paul Pogba’s days as a Manchester United player.
United’s record signing is out of contract in the summer of 2021 and the club will be keen for him not to run down his deal and leave for a cut-price fee next January.
