Everton: Duncan Ferguson has 'lost' Moise Kean says Andy Gray
Duncan Ferguson says he will meet with Everton directors tonight to discuss his future. The interim boss also revealed the club will be releasing a statement to let supporters know the outcome.
Ferguson was on the backroom staff at Goodsion Park until Marco Silva was sacked following the 5-2 loss to Liverpool a fortnight ago.
The Scot was asked to take charge of the club on a temporary basis as they search for a replacement.
Under his stewardship Everton have beaten Chelsea and earned a 1-1 draw with Manchester United.
And Ferguson could be rewarded by being given the job until the end of the season.
“I am due to see the directors later, I think there will be some kind of statement,” Ferguson revealed following the draw at Old Trafford.

“I think I will be [in charge against Leicester on Wednesday], yeah. It's a quick turnaround for a new man to come in.
"Well I think it's going to buy them a bit of time to get the right man in, make the process more diligent and get the right guy.
“We need the best manager in the world to lead Everton football club.”
Former Everton manager David Moyes is still the favourite with the bookmakers to take over from Silva.

But the team’s performances under Ferguson will certainly give the hierarchy something to think about.
For now, Ferguson must find a way to keep his side climbing the table as they sit just three points outside of the relegation zone.
The former midfielder must also work out a way to repair his relationship with Moise Kean after subbing the attacker off after just 19 minutes against United.
The Italian was only introduced on the 70th minute but was whipped off just before the board went up for added time.
Kean stormed straight past his manager and headed down the tunnel to the changing room.
And Ferguson attempted to play the incident down after the match.
“It was not because of his performance.,” he said. “I just needed to make a substitution to kill a bit of time.
“I have a lot of strikers on the bench, it was nothing against him personally.”
He added: “I am delighted at the moment. We have got a point. Of course we were winning but I cannot complain.
“They came on strong in the second half but I thought we looked good on the counter attack. The boys were absolutely amazing.
“We beat a top team in Chelsea and now we've come to Old Trafford and got a draw.”
