TOTTENHAM are prepared to smash their transfer record for the second time this summer and sign Paulo Dybala, according to reports.

Daniel Levy is finally willing to dip his hands into his pockets as a reward for Mauricio Pochettino’s efforts last season.
The Argentine guided Spurs to their first ever Champions League final despite not making a signing since January 2018.
Now the club could be set to break their transfer record for the second time this summer, building on the excitement following the acquisition of Tanguy Ndombele.
According to the Daily Mail, Tottenham are willing to surpass the £55million paid to Lyon, for Juventus star Paulo Dybala.
Initial talks have been held with the Italian champions about the possibility of a deal this summer.
Although it is currently unclear what Juventus responded, they are unlikely to be interested in selling the player at this point of the window.
If Massimiliano Allegri had remained in charge for another season, that may have been a different story given that Dybala had fallen out of favour in the latter stages of last season.
However, the appointment of Maurizio Sarri has sparked optimism that the forward can fulfil his potential under the tutelage of the former Chelsea boss.
As shown during his time with Scudetto rivals Napoli, Sarri’s system has a heavy focus on attack and creating chances in the final third.
The potential deal does show the ambition of Tottenham ahead of the upcoming season and Pochettino is still expecting a number of new faces to arrive before the August 8 deadline.
They are currently sounding out deals for Giovani Lo Celso and Ryan Sessegnon and there is confidence that they will be completed.
Negotiations with Real Betis have gone quiet in recent weeks but they are expected to accelerate now the La Liga have signed his potential replacement in Nabil Fekir.
Given that Lo Celso can play in a similar attacking midfield role to his compatriot Dybala, there is a chance that only one of the two will be signed as opposed to both.

Naturally, the Juventus man is a secondary striker in which he would play off Harry Kane who will undoubtably lead the line for Spurs.
Lo Celso is tipped to be the successor of Christian Eriksen, who has just one year remaining on his deal in north London.
Tottenham would be willing to sell the Dane this summer should offers arrive, but they are yet to do so.
They value the midfielder at £70m and are aware that they are likely to lose him on a free transfer.
