Tottenham have reportedly been monitoring the progress of the 20-year-old for quite some time but the latest update from the player’s agent suggest Zaniolo’s future is at Roma for now.
Zaniolo has been tipped to become one of Italy’s best young prospects and the winger is coming off of a season where he made 36 appearances for the Giallorossi, during which he found the back of the net six times.
His performances in Serie A and the Champions League have attracted the attention of several top European clubs including Tottenham, Manchester United and Juventus.
Zaniolo made the switch from Inter Milan to Roma last season for just £4million, in a move that saw Belgian midfielder Radja Nainggolan go in the other direction, but his agent Claudio Vigorelli insists the chances of the Italian leaving the capital this summer are slim.

"To date, as far as we are concerned, no negotiations are underway with any international or Italian club,” Vigorelli told Italian publication Calciomercato.
Zaniolo’s performances at the Stadio Olimpico have seen the club try and tie the youngster down to a long-term deal, although Vigorelli insisted the club were under no pressure to renegotiate the player’s current terms.
"There was never any pressure on Roma for the renewal of Nicolo’s contract,” Vigorelli said.
“We have heard a lot about Zaniolo, Roma and his contract in recent weeks.

"Given the media attention to which Nicolo was subjected at national and international level, it is important to make some clarifications.
"Nicolo is a heritage of Roma who believed in his talent first and foremost.
"This is why it is essential to build together the most suitable path to enhance it and continue the extraordinary growth path also in the next season."
It is believed that Roma are looking to tie the midfielder down to a deal until 2024 and according to Italian transfer expert Nicolo Schira the two sides are about €1m (£880k) apart in their negotiations.
Roma, who finished sixth in Serie A last season, are reportedly offering a base salary of €2m (£1.76m), but, Zaniolo's representatives are looking for €2.5m (£2.2m), plus a further €500k (£440k) in bonuses.
